The National Junior College Athletic Association announced its men’s and women’s cross country rankings thru the first week of competition, listing the Cavaliers among the top contenders on both sides.
The poll, voted on by the national office, voted the DC men as No. 11 in the country receiving 53 points. The Darton College women received 40 points for a No. 13 ranking.These rankings are the highest in school history.
“The rankings are a motivational tool for our kids right now,” said cross country coach David Mann. “We see a lot of teams ahead of us that we want to compete with come time for nationals.”
