Albany State volleyball player receives SIAC honor

Albany State University Lady Ram Priscila Sena has received honors from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). A senior, Sena was selected as this week’s SIAC Setter of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Sena continued her impressive play this season, recording 136 assists in five matches for the Golden Rams. The San Paulo, Brazil native also added 36 digs, 12 kills, and four service aces to help lead Albany State to a 3-2 record in last week’s matches.

Sena will play with the Lady Rams as they take on the Valdosta State University on Wednesday, Sept. 29. First serve is set for 6 p.m. at ASU’s HPER Gymnasium.

All ASU home matches are free of charge and open to the public.
