Albany Area Chamber of Commerce Accepting Applications for Strive2Thrive

By   /   September 15, 2010  /   Comments

The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce, through its integral regional development program Strive2Thrive, is accepting applications from our community. If you are a motivated individual currently living in poverty that wants to succeed, become self-sufficient, and indeed, become “Leaders”, we’re here to give you a hand up.

We are about to begin our second round of Getting Ahead classes, and will be able to host 15 families this time around. Strive2Thrive wants YOU, if you are someone who is motivated and ready for change.

Applications are available at the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce, at 225 W. Broad Ave. The applications are due back to us no later than Monday, September 20. We’ll then quickly interview candidates for the 17-week class, and launch our next round of Getting Ahead candidates on Thursday, October 14.
Please encourage people that you know to apply. This is a program that WILL change your life! Please direct any questions to: Shanilia Williams at 229-434-8700; swilliams@albanyga.com.
