REGARDING THE CITY MANAGER reducing the mayor’s bodyguard/driver’s suspension from 30 to 5 days, thank God for friends in high places, huh?
HMMMM, I WONDER IF it has something to do with his part-time job. The chief is finding out his actions don’t mean anything if City Manager Alfred Lott and the mayor get together. If it had been most any other officer, they might have been fired for discarding public records.
REGARDING OUR LOCAL HERO, thank you for not letting Gary Vinson’s act of kindness and life go in vain. I pray for the families that God will continue to keep them.

WITH THE CRCT SCORES being so bad with fourth graders, protecting these problem teachers is not helping the students. They needed to be weeded out and sent packing.
IF THE TEACHERS THAT changed these test scores or told the kids what to change are still there, then there is a big problem with the schools.
WELL, WELL, NOW I just read that we had someone independent check these previous tests and found nothing wrong! Sounds like we can’t trust the folks that are checking our teachers or someone is being paid off. Looks like, smells like, must be!

HONESTLY, IS ANYBODY SURPRISED with Dougherty County’s CRCT scores? No teachers changed the answers.
IS IT TRUE? IS a Lee County commissioner the cowardly sign Nazi?
THE STATE CAN INVESTIGATE local abuse of power. Local Lee County incumbent politicians are not above the law.
THIS IS SO NOT fair, competition improves services and cost! Why would a judge reverse a decision that would have created competition?
REGARDING TERRELL COUNTY ELECTIONS officials listing candidates’ races, I think their information should just have a name. That way you’d have to actually read up on the candidates to see what each was wanting to do once they got in office.
IN TERRELL COUNTY, THE race card is always in play. Am I surprised? Nope. Merely shows what is really important to the electorate as evidenced by some of their selections.
ONLY IN SOUTH GEORGIA would election officials list candidates’ races. It is ridiculous.
I HOPE ALL THE candidates just answer “human” for the race question in Terrell County. Bigotry is alive and well in Georgia. Never seen it so bold as I have seen here.
