APX IS VERY MISLEADING; I got caught up with them last year.
TWO HOURS AFTER WE completed an alarm installation in Dawson, APX showed up at the door of this 80-year-old lady and told her they were there to “put something on her alarm panel that the city recommends”. I know what they were doing. They were trying to install a cellular backup and disconnect her phone line. Then they could change her dial-up to
ON FRIDAY, WE RECEIVED two calls from customers in Albany stating that APX was knocking on their doors telling them that they were the ones that installed their alarm system and were there to put “something on their panels, too!” The city should act to stop these people. This is outright scamming!
GO TO YAHOO AND type in “APX reviews” and you will see a ton of their different scams. Very few nice things said about them and I suspect that they wrote them.
APX ALSO IS TELLING alarm system owners that signing their monitoring agreement “automatically” voids the one that they currently have. WRONG!
APX KNOCKED ON OUR door three times this weekend. The last time my wife talked with the young man without opening the door. He was very rude. We called 911 and they sent an officer. She called and said they had a permit. I told my wife they didn’t have a permit to harass us! No help from the City.
IF KATHY STRANG GOT her job back as assistant Albany city attorney, would she really want to continue working there? I think it would be extremely uncomfortable for everyone. Girl, just fix your hair, smile, and take this opportunity to escape from Albany!
ALL THESE PEOPLE CHALLENGING the taxes want it both ways. They sell the property and want the highest amount possible but aren’t willing to pay the taxes.
IF THE MAN ARRESTED for the lewd act involving a woman’s feet at Darton was studying to become a gynecologist, would she have still followed him into a private room for a survey? I’m not saying she’s to blame, but she could have used a little common sense.

REGARDING THE SHOOTING OF a child in Albany recently, I want to know if the gun involved in this “accident” was registered? If so, was the shooter the registered owner?
NOT ONLY ARE GUNS not required to be registered, there isn’t even a system in the state of Georgia to do so if someone wanted to for some reason.

THE GUY WITH ALL dogs needs to keep his mouth shut and fade into the background. Stop complaining to the media and get a job. There is no legal way he can provide for all these animals without being employed. Even with a job it would seem to be difficult to feed, shelter, and provide proper vet care for his “kennel.”
WERE ALL THE DOGS brought up to date on there shots and spayed and neutered and was the owner made to pay for these services? Nobody has a right to have that many dogs. Is the county going to make sure these dogs are cared for?
TWENTY-ONE DOGS CHAINED to trees? And he gets them back? For what? They obviously are not his pets. I have three dogs, which is all I can handle, to love on, train, and provide proper care for. You don’t chain your pets to trees and continue to get more just so that you can chain them, also. Where is PETA when you need them?
WHY WOULD HE BE allowed to have the dogs back? Now he is moving them so he can continue his abuse.
I’D LIKE TO KNOW how he got all the dogs back home! Use a horse trailer and make a couple trips?
ordinance? If you have to keep a dog chained why does it have to be a heavy chain. Everyone knows why they use heavy chains for these dogs…Dougherty County IS a lost cause. I’m so glad I don’t have to work in that city anymore & won’t spend my money there. It’s obvious that law enforcement does not care about this problem. As I have said on previous posts; the people fighting these dogs, raising them for the purpose of fighting & the ones who have turned a blind eye & let it happen will answer to God one day. The dogs who have been killed don’t have to suffer or be tortured anymore.
This situation still stinks. Why would he WANT 21 dogs that he can’t afford to properly care for and has to keep CHAINED up?? That sounds like abuse to me.
