James F. Seiy

The family visitation for James F. Seiy, 68, of Lee County, who died Sunday, May 9, 2010 at his residence, will be Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.

A native of Milwaukee, Wisc., Mr. Seiy resided in the Albany area for the past 39 years. “Jim”, as all his friends knew him, had worked in various arenas in the automobile industry.  He worked at Wallace Chevrolet in the 1970s, Master Tool & Equipment in the 1980s, E.S.P. Warehouse in the 1990s and was owner and operator of Product Distribution Co. until recently. His knowledge and expertise in the automobile machine shop supply and equipment industry throughout Georgia and northern Florida will be missed.

Jim was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Susan Toennis Seiy.  Survivors include two sons, Pat Seiy (Amy), Lee County, Eric Seiy (Lisa), Axton, Va., and six grandchildren, Sallie Rives Seiy, Connor Seiy, Garrett Seiy, Wes Seiy, Abby Seiy and Nathan Seiy.

He was a member of Grand Island Golf Club and was of the Catholic Faith

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 323 Pine Ave. Albany, GA 31701.
