INNOCENT!
Dougherty Superior Court Judge Willie Lockette has overturned a jury’s conviction of former Alltel contractor Christopher Weaver of Albany.
Weaver had faced 639 years in prison for allegedly bilking Alltel out of $470,000. Lockette says that the evidence that the district attorney based its case on was not consistent with the the grand jury indictment.
