First United Methodist Church of Albany will host “The Quest For Authentic Manhood” with Robert Lewis on Tuesday mornings following Easter. This is a 24-session study facilitated by senior minister Dr. Don Adams focused on the primary issues that shape a man’s life; explores in-depth the biblical concept of manhood; and provides practical building blocks for men to use to construct themselves a nobler, more satisfying manhood. Macedonia Baptist Brotherhood will sponsor its seventh annual Holy Smoke Christian Grilling Competition at the old Centerpoint School in Preston from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. On tap is fellowship, gospel singing an $6 barbecue plates.
