Saying it’s only the beginning of the end of a community rife with violence, pastors, law enforcement officials, education leaders and more than 200 citizens initiated an anti-violence movement Saturday in Albany.
The endeavor was spearheaded in part by Gethsemane Worship Center Bishop Frederick Williams, whose sister, Johnnie, was murdered at her Whiting Drive residence.
