Sherwood Baptist Church will host guest speaker Tom Elliff, a former Southern Baptist Convention president who pastured for 42 years and served as the International Mission Board’s senior vice president for spiritual nurture and church relations. First United Methodist Church of Albany’s Hosanna Choir will sponsor a Music Trivia Challenge in Ford Hall. Your team can win prizes and even take home the coveted Music Trivia trophy. Teams can be groups of friends, family members, Sunday school class members, etc. Entry fee is $25 per team with up to eight people per team. Dinner will be available for purchase. Sign up in Sunday school or in the church office. Proceeds benefit the Hosanna Choir’s tour. Info: 432-7407.
