Friday, Dec. 4

The Centrakids Choir of Central Baptist Church, 1618 W. Third Ave. (at Dawson Road) will present “The Best Christmas Present Ever” at 6 p.m. and again at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6.

A benefit sing for Kenny Chambliss with special guest Southern Majesty will be held at 7 p.m. at Faith Community Fellowship Church in Poulan.

A great night of gospel music is on tap at the Cross Cultural Musique in downtown Leesburg at The Lee County Jamboree beginning at 7:30. The featured guests are Liz Brown and Lonnie Glass.

Sunday, Dec. 6

Porterfield United Methodist Church at 2200 Dawson Road will have its annual Children and Youth Christmas Program will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Children who participate in For Fifth-Graders Only and Terrific Tuesday will be in the program. Info: 436-6336.

Friday, Dec. 11

The Barn on Georgia Hwy. 49 between Americus and Andersonville will host a Christmas concert sponsored by Sweetwater Ministries featuring The Dove Brothers from Bladenboro, N.C., and The Dixie Echoes from Pensacola, Fla. A $5 donation is requested.

Friday, Dec. 18

NewSong, which is on its “Very Merry Christmas Tour” featuring Big Daddy Weave and Francesca Battistelli, will perform at 7 p.m. at Life Christian Center International. Info: 439-4846
