Digital Bookmobile National Tour stops in Albany

Learn how to download free audiobooks for iPod® and more from the Dougherty County Public Library

What: Digital Bookmobile National Tour
Where: Dougherty Northwest Library, 2507 Dawson Road, Albany, GA 31707
When: Friday, November 20, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

- Learn how to download audiobooks for iPod®, iPhone®, Zune®, and other devices.

- Use interactive PC and Mac® computer stations to experience Dougherty County Public Library’s audiobook downloads.

- Library card holders can also check out and download digital titles anytime, anywhere by visiting the Georgia Download Destination website at http://gadd.lib.overdrive.com.

- The Digital Bookmobile is housed inside an 18-wheel tractor-trailer. This 74-foot community outreach vehicle is a high-tech update of the traditional bookmobile that has served communities for decades.

- Both the event and the service are free.

The Digital Bookmobile is operated by OverDrive, Inc.
