An evening of bluegrass gospel singing featuring The Cumbie Family will be held beginning at 7 at Baconton United Methodist Church, 186 E. Walton St. Admission is free and refreshments will be served; a love offering will be accepted. Info: Joyce Rogers at 436-2041.

Saturday, Nov. 14

Former Arkansas governor and Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee will sign his new book, “Do the Right Thing,” at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 15 at Sherwood Baptist Church, 2201 Whispering Pines Road. Huckabee is the host of the NO. 1-rated “HUCKABEE” show on Fox News Channel, and broadcasts the “Huckabee Report” on the ABC Radio Network. The Legends of Gospel Music, Ron Blackwood and The Blackwood Brothers, The Chuck Wagon Gang and The Florida Boys will perform beginning at 7 at Randolph-Southern in Shellman.
