• WHAT: 2nd annual Smithville Chicken Pie 5K/10.2K/1 Mile Fun Run. Pre-Race Packets can be picked up Friday, Oct. 20 from 5-7 p.m. at the Smithville Police Department.

• WHEN: Registration begins 6:30 a.m., 5K run starts 7:30 a.m., 10.2K run starts at 8 a.m., Fun Run starts 8:15 a.m.

• WHERE: Run will begin at the corner of Cedar St. & Main St., Smithville

• COST: $15 by Oct. 30, $20 Race Day

The Blue Jean Beauty Pageant will be held on the 24th at 2:00pm to allow the Beauty Queens to participate in our parade on the 31st.

11:30am: homemade chicken pie judging
