Frankie Sue Modlin Bays, 54, of Albany, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009 at Palmyra Medical Center.
The funeral services were held Monday at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors with Brother Jimmy Hagadorn officiating. Interment was at Pelham City Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 11, 1955 to Franklin and Pearlie Faye Brumbley Modlin, in Middle Town, Ohio. She loved music greatly, played the piano and had a dancing heart. She was employed by Albany, Water, Gas and Light as a safety loss and control attendant. She was a loving daughter, mother and companion to the love of her life, Peter Rivero. She was preceded in death by her father; Franklin Modlin, her maternal grandparents; Robert and Elmira Brumbley and her paternal grandparents; Joe and Nellie Modlin.
She is survived by her life partner; Peter Rivero of Albany, her mother, Pearlie Faye Brumbley Modlin of New Brockton Ala., her sister, Melino Boswell (Kenneth) of Enterprise Ala., and her special niece, Alane Boswell, of Troy, Ala.
