Alicia Croxton, Director of ACT Up!, Albany’s Junior Theatre, has announced that there will be a second round of auditions for “Madeline’s Christmas”, Friday, Sept. 11, 2pm to 4pm at the Beattie Road Church of Christ, 1731 Beattie Road, next to the Deerfield Windsor Lower School campus.

Madeline’s Christmas, is a musical adaptation of Ludwig Bemelmans’ holiday picture book. One of the wonderful aspects about this play is that the Madeline character is not the only significant role. There are lots of terrific parts for young female performers.

Girls six to thirteen may audition. There is also one part for a teenage boy. Girls six to eight may recite a poem in lieu of a cold read. Also, please prepare a song. A $50 participation fee is required.
