This life-changing program experience families and individuals how to handle their money through common-sense principles and small group accountability. Open Door Fellowship Church, 223 Northwood St. in Poulan, is having an old-fashioned Holy Ghost camp meeting gets under way at 7 p.m. and follows at 10:30 a.m. Thursday and Friday, and 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sept. 18-19

First United Methodist Church of Albany will host “The Outrageous Joy of Relationships,” a second annual retreat for women of all ages, at Kamp Kirksey. Rev. Carrie Austin will speak; Sandy Bennett and Sarah Ulm are worship leaders. The $35 registration fee includes supper, breakfast, and materials. Sept. 20-23

Sherwood Baptist Church will host its annual fall ReFRESH conference; this year’s speakers will include Michael Catt, Tom Elliff, Ken Jenkins, Ed Litton, Daniel Simmons, Mark Bearden and Bill Stafford. Mark Willard and the Sherwood Choir and Orchestra will lead in music. There is no fee; lover offerings will be taken throughout the conference. No registration is required.
